Buy a copy of my new book, "Mascot to the Rescue," out in the stores today! God will love you for it!
Josh Miller, sixth grader at Demarest Elementary School, has a secret. Everything that happens to Mascot, the superhero sidekick in the Captain Major comic books, also happens to Josh. So when Josh finds out that Mascot is slated to die in the next Captain Major adventure, he knows he has to do something—and fast! A budding comics artist and writer himself, Josh and his new friend, Kelsey (aka Large Lass), take off to find Stan Kirby, the creator of the Captain Major series, so they can save Mascot—and Josh's life.

(Kathleen comments: Having read both I can assure you that they are nothing alike)
May I just say that this description brings me joy?
I came up with the story over six years ago and, as Kathleen said, they are nothing alike. If anything, it owes more to "The Secret Life of Walter Mitty."

OTOH, one wonders if, as with Mel Lazarus' sadly-nearly-unknown novel, The Boss is Crazy Too, at least some of the characters or events will have *ahem* "No resemblance (wink wink) to actual persons (nudge nudge) or events (say no more)..."
That story sounds adorable. My mom's a huge fan of your Star Trek and Arthur novels, so I think I know what I'm getting her for Christmas now. (although I have a feeling I'm going to be reading it first)

Stan Kirby? Golly gosh, where do you think up those crazy names?!?!
(Seriously, it sounds like a hoot; I can't wait to read it!)

Oh, and I forgot to add: Shonna Tova to one and all. I spent the Holiday at Chabad in Seoul, S. Korea, the first ever Rosh HaShanna for Jews in Korea that wasn't affiliated with the U.S. Army Base. A truly happy occasion for all concerned. May the family of PAD and all his readers be blessed with a sweet, happy, and prosperous new year. Now go out and buy his new book already!
Congrats on the new book.
Could someone let me know how to contact your webmaster (Glenn?)? Most of the time your site is one stop along the way during my surfing. But (lately) if I should end out of MS Explorer while on your site, I get a nice "application error" message, and certain applications lock up.
It appears to be something connected to Java.

Just finished "Mascot" and I enjoyed it immensely. I particularly liked the arc you gave Stan Kirby and the resolution of the situation on the bridge (he said carefully, trying not to reveal too much).
