Great photo, Kath! I assume you were the photographer in question?

Yep. I was. It was the punchline to a gag that Peter had at the end of his speech about Stan.

I guess I'm more old fashioned, although certainly Who da man is most appropriate for Stan the Man; in the unlikely event I ever do a Stan intro/tribute, I think I'd try to get the audience to start doing the Monty Python Spam song, replacing Spam with "Stan"

"Stan Stan Stan Stan Stan Stan Stan Stan Wonderful Stan, Wonderful Stan..."

Actually, come to think of it, I'd be stealing that from my year in the Yale Precision Marching Band when it used to be done to a band officer named, of course, Stan.

Only if you can get Stan to mutter "bloody Vikings..." afterwards!

Nice! I like the Marvel Legends Stan Lee figure between you too. I have one. Very geek-tastic!

Yes. Yes he is, Peter. :-)

I used to think he was called "Stan, the Manly."

Either way works.

Yeah, that's pretty damn cool.

Peter, how was Stan's health, spryness, etc when you saw him? The guy seems immortal and always full of energy even at 80-something now. Hope you webheads had a good discussion. :-)
