In light of recent threads...

I thought that this film, brought to my attention courtesy of Dan Slott, would be of amusement.

The only reason why you would post this is because you're a dick! ;)

Posted by: Robert Fuller at October 26, 2007 02:14 PM

I like how nearly every comment is just someone quoting the video, which is an inane message board habit that the video didn't cover.

Ha! I know one of those guys! The one who says "Snap , you just got called gay by a girl.." He was a fellow castmate from NYRF '03 season.

You know why you said that? Because you're gay.

Personally, I can't see how this would apply to any thread our dear host has ever had hear, and I don't recognize anyone in that picture as being anywhere close to anyone here.

And, Myers, you really hurt my hand when you high fived me over the damn table. Jerk.

Now, who do I talk to for the iPod nanos?

Posted by: John Hudgens at October 26, 2007 06:00 PM

OMG, that was funny, especially the last moment... pwned!

Posted by: Todd P. Emerson at October 26, 2007 06:28 PM

Where the hell is the "Prison Break" talkback?

You know what? This thread really reminds me of the camp my friends and went to years ago. There was this really nice canoeing area and a lake with beautiful crystal waters...

Posted by: John Judy at October 26, 2007 08:09 PM

I laughed so hard I almost dropped the $500.00 Target gift certificate I got for free just by taking THIS SURVEY!

Posted by: Jerry Chandler at October 26, 2007 09:16 PM

(They left out an important category of forum post. They left out the one that tries to take the thread in a completely different direction In that spirit...)

Guys! Anybody else see the trailer for Anthony Head's next film, Repo! The Genetic Opera! Looks weird as hell, but I think I'll be in line for it at the theater. Hey, I'm strange. I not only dug Rocky Horror, but I'm one of the few people I know who ever owned (it long ago disappeared) a copy of Shock Treatment.

hehe, not bad, but it was missing Godwin's law. And nobody accused one of the girls of being a 40-year-old dude living in his mom's basement.

eh.. Simpson's did it.

Bill Myers: The only reason why you would post this is because you're a dick! ;)
Luigi Novi: Obviously, it's because this blog--a blog centered around one friggin' person, mind you--, exists in order to feed his massive ego.

And because he hates Image comics.

:-)

Posted by: Fake Fan Poster Who Never Actually Bought PAD's Work Post at October 27, 2007 02:22 PM

How dare PAD post such an insulting post. So THIS is how the high and mighty one views the "commoners" who visit his site to express their admiration of his work. Well, I've been a fan of his for years and bought everything that he ever wrote, but this is the last straw. I cannot find it in myself to support the massive ego of someone who so clearly holds such disdain for his fans. Well, I guess that just clears up money in my budget for the works of such superior creators in the field like John Byrne and Rob Liefeld.

Posted by: Stacy Dooks at October 27, 2007 02:22 PM

I think the nightmare scenario that should bring on the apocalypse in the Marvel universe that ultimately led to the Luther Manning Deathlok future should have been the Internet using forumites as a template for consciousness, then coming to life and annoying people to violent death.

. . .pwned? Seriously, what is that. . .

At the risk of continuing Jerry Chandler's tangent, just thought I'd mention that if he wants to replace that long ago disapeared copy of Shock Treatment, it is out on DVD now. It is available either by itself, or as a box set with the two-disc version of RHPS.

I think I'm glad that I had no idea what that was about until near the end.

Posted by: Craig J. Ries at October 29, 2007 07:45 PM

That was brilliant.

It was indeed missing a few things that have already been mentioned that would've made it perfect, including a troll. Oh well, it's still quite amusing. :)
