Back from vacation

...and fixing all the comments and display problems. Should be all better now. And just so you know, going on vacation without my laptop wasn't my idea.

Thank you, that's much better now.

We appreciate all your hard work, Glenn. Hope you enjoyed your vacation.

Ahhhh, much better. All hail Glenn, and many thanks.

Is there a good layman-level explanation you can give about what the problem was, by the way? It's not a big deal, but I'm curious.

Thanks Glenn.

When ever I have trouble getting to one of my usual websites, I always get worried that my computer has some kind of weird virus. Thanks for getting me my PAD fix back Glenn.

thank you Glenn. I was beginning to think I had done something to my machine that affected every browser and couldn't figure out when I had done it.

Me too. I'd just switched to IE 7, panicked and system restored back to IE 6. I won't bother putting 7 back on... the icons and interface is horrid and I browse via AOL anyway...

Whomever had the idea of your taking a vacation without a computer in tow - Thank You!

I didn't enjoy the problems which developped while you were away, but too many people are unclear on the concept that taking a 'vacation' doesn't involve being hooked up to various electronic leashes. Vacations are supposed to be to get away from everything, not drag it along.

Thanks, Glenn!

And Newsarama folks blamed the gremlin on me for starting a thread on how I broke PAD's website :)

Glenn, I'll second what The StarWolf said: a vacation is meant to be, y'know, a vacation. Whoever convinced you to leave your laptop at home had the right idea. I hope you came back refreshed.

And thanks for all of your hard work!

Glenn,

Hate when the bugs pop up but don't go and squish your vacations by bringing the work tool along. Brain does need a break from time to time.

Great to have you back on the job though. Hope you had a good time and welcome back.

Have you seen the "new, improved" Trek episodes airing lately?.....What's your take on this?

Glenn's back just in time for an attack by porn link spammers! Welcome back.

Meanwhile, I still can't actually post unless I go thru the siging into TypeKey each time:(

I am glad some people here understand the meaning of the word "vacation".

:-)
