Going crazy

I have three deadlines crashing up against each other. I'm working on finishing "Fall of Knight," the third Arthur book; a rewrite on my "How to Write Comics" book; and a teleplay for an animated pilot which I won't go into.

So I'm jumping from one project to the next to the next. Every time I slow down with one, I put it on hold and move on to the next one. Going to be a pretty exciting two weeks.

You've already made Arthur the mayor of New York and the President of the United States...what's next? King of the World?

When is the "How to Write Comics" book coming out?

Posted by: Luigi Novi at September 13, 2005 12:12 AM

And yet you still make time for us blog entry addicts.

Thanks, Peter.

And keep us updated on those projects. :-)

I know, I know, you probably get this all the time, but...Sir Apropos of Nothing Book 4?

Puh-lease?

Heh. Sounds like when I used to work for corporations that demanded 60 hour salary paid work weeks. Then pressured us to work on Sunday as well.
I hope its better as a writer getting to pick your hours and such.

Take it from me, it's always better to have too much work than too little work.

Don't worry about Peter. He was probably using one hand to update the blog, and the other hand working on one of the 3 projects.

(Why shoot, in the time it has taken you, good reader, to read this little reply, Peter's filled in his spare time by writing 3 short stories and 2 plays.)

Seriously, though, I feel for any keyboard he gets near, because it's going to be nearing meltdown with the heat he'll be generating.

Scary, I tell you.

Can't wait for either of the two former, and intrigued as to the latter.

BTW...is there another Apropos book forthcoming?

TRULY OUTRAGEOUS.

A question for PAD if he gets a chance to answer: Do you know why Genis isn't called Captain Marvel anymore in New Thunderbolts?

"You may use HTML tags for style"

Apparently, I can't... :P

Wow, what a workload. Good luck PAD, all that stuff to do, and the new Star Trek New Frontier book (hint , hint, hint) ;)

Sounds like my last six months. Unfortunately, all my writing has been for IBM.

You can, if you use actual HTML (<i> and </i>) instead of bulletin board code ( and ). :)

Wow. I have trouble writing two fan fics at the same time :) It's a good thing - as evidenced by the times of some of your postings around here - you don't seem to need much sleep .... Good luck with your two weeks of project-finishing, sir.

PAD,

Good Luck with all of your projects. I'm also looking forward to the January 2006 release of the next New Frontier novel.

Yep; and I would've gotten away with it, too, if it hadn't been for those meddling kids... :)

yes, is there going to be a 4th sir apropos book? *crosses fingers and hopes*

I can relate. In August, every single magazine I write for decided to slam me with deadlines all at once. It was exhausting but exhilirating at the same time.

See ya when you come up for air! :)

BID. To everyone who reads/comments on/enjoys PAD's site. I have been going through a rough personal time and drinking WAY more than I should. I have probably made comments while in the wrong state of mind. I Apologize!!! PAD is my FAVORITE writer and I mean NO DISRESPECT to him, this site, or any of his fans. I have been told many times not to comment on anyone's blog when I am in a sorry state of mind. I need to follow that advice better. Again, Please accept my apologies.

Questionable content?

All that and what we really need is the continuing adventures of a certain red-headed, half-lame ne'er-do-well...
