The Plot

I cannot recommend highly enough "The Plot: The Secret Story of the Protocols of the Elders of Zion." Will Eisner's last work, it is a remarkable history of a hoax that's had more staying power than the Loch Ness monster, and a far higher body count. Read how "Protocols," a supposed secret history of how Jews plan to take over the world, has been discredited over and over and over again...and yet, like the hydra of myth, every time you whack off one of its head, another two sprout.

You mean that you are *not* trying to take over the world? Well, there goes my plan of trying to ingratiate myself with Jewish people for the sake of securing a place as "lackey" in the new world order!

Seriously though, it's Will Eisner. I will buy it anyway but seeing that you like it, Mr. David, is just icing on the cake.

1I am against any form of censorship, but if there were ANY reason to have a time machine to provent something from being written, the Articals is it.I will certainly be reading Mr. Eisner's book.

You mean it isn't true? Bendis is always talking about Jews taking over the comics industry. i just figured that was their beach-head.

I read one editorial in an Arab per that more or less admitted that evryone knew they were frauds but it didn't matter because the sentiments were correct--"fake but accurate" I guess. A miniseries based on them was a huge hit on Arab TV last year.

Looking forward to seeing what the great Will Eisner came up with.

Um, er, I'd like to buy a vowel, please?

How about a hint about publisher, release date,
price, format, anything else pertinent?

But my Zionist master told me they were real!

I read this about a month ago. Mr. Eisner did a wonderful job telling the story of the Protocols. I don't know if it's his best work, but it is, by far, his most important.

Of course it's not the Jews. It's lemurs. Those nasty little buggers are out to conquer us all.

Yeah, bet your rabbi-hatin' asses didn't see that one coming. That's the plan. Mark my words, we will be subjugated by the lemur menace if we don't act soon.

[Hey, wait a minute! When did I start talking like Donald Rumsfeld?]

I will definitely be getting this. I first heard about 'The Protocols...' in The Big Book Of Hoaxes put out by DC Comics in the late '90s.

Right now (having not read it yet- but intending to), the thing I like most about THE PLOT is the seemingly misleading title.

Think about it- someone who's not on the best terms with the Jewish Community sees the title "The Plot: The Secret Story of the Protocols of the Elders of Zion" goes "Hmm so they're all in cahoots, eh? Lessee what that's all about..." and ends up reading a deconstruction of the myth and learning a fact or two!

Then again, they might not pick it up considering the author's last name is Eisner?

Regardless, I'ma gonna get it!

In an only slightly related story, albeit one that will doubtlessly alarm all Protocals fans, a scientist has claimed to show a genetic basis for the high intelligence level seen among Ashkenazim Jews.(interestingly, the same genes that promote intelligence may also be linked to diseases like Tay-Sachs)

Needless to say, this will totally freak out those who, while they pay lip service to evolutionary concepts, refuse to accept a genetic component to positive human attributes.

I'm a consipracy nut so I'm looking forward to Mr. Eisner's final work.

And for anyone who never had the good fortune of meeting Eisner, I'd also recommend Eisner/Miller, from the lovely chaps at Dark Horse Books. It's a wonderfully simple premise: Miller travels down to Eisner's home in Florida, and basically the entire book is a long conversation between them, running the gamut from censorship to 'talking out of school' (a dinner-time conversation where they talk about various industry professionals, to the two artists swapping tips about the way they work- I love the bit where Eisner reveals that his wonderful wash technique is actually dirty water, from when he washed his brush out. It's an absolutely fascinating conversation, well worth the 20 bucks. And lots of great Eisner and Miller art as well.

By the way, my fellow Jewish co-conspirator, can you spot me some cash so I can move out of this crappy South Shore apartment until the money from our world takeover scheme rolls in? I just know our international cartel of bankers would approve. Come on, do it for the cabal.

Picked it up last Sunday at a Chapters book store here in Canada. The info is therefore taken from my copy:

The Plot: The Secret Story of the Protocols of the Elders of Zion by Will Eisner with an Introduction by Umberto Eco. Published by W. W. Norton, out now in finer book stores anywhere, $19.95 US and $28 Canadian.

Oh, it's also a hardcover graphic novel, and a helluva good read.

It's wierd, but somewhere between the Masons and the Templars, I missed out on the whole Jewish plot. Seriously, I didn't even know the theory was out there - of course, that was probably their plan all along - the Jews are using the Templars, the Masons and...and...Right Wing Christians, yeah! as smokescreen for their own agenda! Fight the Power! Damn the Man! Where's the Beef!

...

Oh, uh, sorry. Anway, I'll have to look for it at the library. And, PAD, you'll have to keep us posted on how the whole world domination agenda is going.

Ah, but if you had just taken the time to read you Jack Chick comic you would know that it is the Catholic Church that is behind the Masons, Muslims, Mormons and probably a whole bunch of other organizations that start with M. And behind the Catholic Church? Hmmm...oh I don't know, maybe it could be...SATAN?????

Strangely, I've never read anything by Chick that claims that Jews are part of the big Satan conspiracy--just a bunch of folks who are going to hell.

Ridiculous. George W. Bush isn't jewish in the least.

I'm still worried about the Bill Mulligan-Zombie-Rampage plot to take over the world.

It's on film, don'cha know

Posted by: Giacomo at June 6, 2005 08:10 AM

Seriously, jewish people should stop worry about this bullshit. Try to fix that complete fuckup that is the State of Israel, instead.

I'm still worried about the Bill Mulligan-Zombie-Rampage plot to take over the world.

Y'all can cluck your tongues and laugh at my youth wasted watching zombie movies but when the dead rise to devour the living and everyone is waiting for someone to tell them what to do you know who's gonna be safe in the basement with a year's supply of tinned water and MREs, laughing his ass off? Me, that's who.

BTW, LAND OF THE DEAD opens in just a few weeks. Romero. Zombies. I may go in makeup.

"BTW, LAND OF THE DEAD opens in just a few weeks. Romero. Zombies. I may go in makeup."

See, this is why you need to live around the Richmond, VA area. Cause I'm going to feel real lonely being the only guy here doing the same thing.
And soon after Land I get to ghoul out on Undead as well :) :) :).
