My totally random prediction

Patriots over Eagles, 24-21. I'm almost certain that'll be it.

What?!! GASP!

I don't like giving predicitions, because I feel like it jinxes the team.

However...GO PATS!!!

Any particular reason for such a prediction? I made no predictions myself, but living in Massachusetts I root for the Pats.

Good call.

SONUVA...PAD is a prognosticator of prognosticators.

Posted by: R. Maheras at February 6, 2005 10:43 PM

And you say you know nothing about football!

Posted by: kelita at February 6, 2005 11:13 PM

Tricksy PAD!

Posted by: Jerome Maida at February 6, 2005 11:26 PM

I just saw this, and had to do a double take and make sure to look at the time when I saw your predicted score.
Holy crap!
PAD, with skill like that, you should move to Vegas:)

The HELL!?

Go PAD...

Posted by: Tom Pearce at February 6, 2005 11:45 PM

Holleeee!!!
I am shocked (shocked, I say!) by your mental powers!

Posted by: Julio Diaz at February 7, 2005 12:10 AM

OK, PAD, now use those powers to give me the winning numbers for the next Florida Lottery drawing!

Seriously, that's spooky...

Posted by: Jeff Lawson at February 7, 2005 12:32 AM

I'm guessing PAD was given a copy of Gray's Sports Almanac by his future self.

Wow-- I could have SWORN that said Eagles over Patriots, 20-17. My memory must be going.

Posted by: Grev at February 7, 2005 01:45 AM

...that's what I get for visiting this site AFTER the Super Bowl and not before...I linked here in an LJ post saying he should go to Vegas...

...he should anyway, 'cuz everyone knows that the biggest winners in Vegas make their own luck. Just ask any MIT grad...:)

I dunno about the program Peter uses to blog with, but with the one I use, blogger.com, you can go in and change the time of your post to any time or date you want.

I'm not saying Peter did that with this Super Bowl prediction or anything, that he went in after the game and "predicted" the final score, and changed the time to be prior to the start of the game. I'm just thinkin' out loud here...

Wow-- I could have SWORN that said Eagles over Patriots, 20-17. My memory must be going.

I also didn't think his prediction was quite so certain before the game either. ;)

Posted by: Scott at February 7, 2005 11:15 AM

I think he altered it. How dishonest. I demand a statement from PAD!

Posted by: yas at February 7, 2005 11:49 AM

Man, now everyone will be confused by my first comment. Sigh.

Say, Mr. David, can you do that again? And does James Randi know about you?

Good pick! Wished I'd spoken with you at about 6:10 yesterday...

Posted by: Blue Spider at February 8, 2005 02:26 AM

if i can alter time and space on my blog... and I have... once or twice... so can the magnificent and powerful Peter David Writer of Stuff...

I'd rather now know. I enjoy the legend more than the truth, in this instance.

Posted by: Rich STeeves at February 8, 2005 08:28 PM

I would love to be impressed by this, but I have a feeling Mr. David altered time and space to make himself look like the prognosicator of prognosticators. I love it! Now, his logic would have predicted the Pats over the Eagles. Patriots have muskets after all...

Posted by: LittleGuy at February 11, 2005 08:33 AM

Okay. I'm convinced. I wasn't watching a real game. It was PAD playing on a Madden 2K5.

Unless PAD has a DeLorean that uses Mr. Fusion fuel.

/tinfoil hat off.
