Prescription Research

A rather unique review site was brought to my attention, wherein "Fallen Angel #18" and "Madrox #3" were reviewed at http://politedissent.com/archives/503/, solely on the basis of the medical situations (Boxer's mom losing the baby, Madrox breaking someone's fingers.) The reviewer stated in both cases that I got it right. I'm pleased, especially in the case of Madrox, since I really did take the time to do the research and discover which fingers in the hand were the easiest to break. The color of shark's blood underwater aside, I always try to write for the experts, so it's nice when the experts notice.

Man, someone's up late on the east coast.

And that's a very interesting website to have reviewed your work (and I assume other people's as well) in a purely medical sense. I might even go so far as to say that site may be one of a kind.

"Man, someone's up late on the east coast."

I can't work if I'm sleeping.

I can't work if I'm sleeping.

And with that kind of attitude, young man, you never will!

"I can't work if I'm sleeping."

PAD, do you work late because that is when you work best or is it because that is the only time there is peace and quiet?

So, PAD, just what journal or other sources did you research in finding out exactly how a giant squid's tentacles would tear off in such an efficient manner?

And there's something else, Mr. David. Your wife just gave birth a short time ago. Undoubtedly, like any intelligent father, you went through the agonies of doubt and worry about the survival of your wife and your child.

(The reason I say "intelligent father" is that it takes no intelligence to father a child; it takes intelligence and courage to remain the father long after the six seconds or so it takes to finish the biological work. A character quality that many young men don't have.)

Every author uses his own life in his writing, but using something this personal? This close to home? This potentially painful? That's almost as courageous as your desire to raise a child properly.

I can't believe it, my co-worker just bought a car for $11685. Isn't that crazy!
