A League of Ordinary Gentlemen

Does anyone know if a documentary about bowling, "A League of Ordinary Gentlemen," is available on tape or DVD or on cable or any frelling place? I'd love to see it, particularly since it features some bowlers that I've actually bowled with in the Pro-Am.

By the way, is anyone planning to bowl in the February Pro-Am in Babylon, NY? If we can match up a time, maybe we can get a group together.

Judging from the IMDB entry, it's still making the film festival rounds, so I wouldn't expect a DVD for a while yet. Sadly, it doesn't seem to have any kind of official website.

The last I heard from it was in WIRED Magazine:

That indicated it would hit theaters this year after the festivals. So, yeah, I'm with Jeff - don't expect it for a few months yet.

In personal news, my average this season has jumped from 171 to 188. I'm much pleased, but I need to pick up new finger grips this weekend, since the new ones just wore out on me after six months.

Hey, has anyone seen the last couple episodes of LOST? They were really incredible. How come there haven't been TV round-ups lately?

yeah, gotta admit, lost had me on the edge of my seat last night...although, now that i think of it, not that different from many of the other episode there have been.

I'm not a great bowler, but maybe I could come to watch. I live right in Copiague.

Someone involved in this film must be an Alan Moore fan.
